Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in GOD's sight.

Ouch!

Yesterday I was babysitting for my moms friend, Nicole. When I was done, she brought me to my
moms and sense it was Tuesday my dad picked me up to go to his house for the night. He picked me up on the motorcycle! <3 I was leaning to put my cell phone into the pouch thing behind the windshield. I leaned forward to put it in and my leg touched the hot hot exhaust pipe! I now have a burn on the front of my left leg, mid cafe... It doesn't really hurt and no I didn't cry :D I got some cream stuff to put on it... It helps too! I would post a picture but I'm pretty sure you guys would never come back because it is so sick looking! And by sick I mean barf, not sick like raad dude!! Today at 3:15 I have an eyebrow waxing!! I'm so excited! These babies need it! Haha

Have a great day!

The Happies

Did you know there is a disease called the Happies? Well... Let me tell you about them...

Cause: everything seems to be going good in life.

Medication(s): Chocolate, candy, and other sweets your body enjoys!

Emotions: Happy and nice

**If your face looks like one of the following three, please let me know so I can congratulate you on this awesome disease!**

This morning London had her BBF Ella come over and they got Mani, Pedi's, and got to do there own makeup! They had so much fun and looked beautiful!(:

Ella was her for about 3 hours. Then after her mom picked her up I went for a run. I could just feel that feeling like... Hard to describe but my body actually want to go for a run which has not happened yet in the last.. 14 years of my life?! Yea... Then the kids wanted to come with me. It was more a walk than a run but hey, its exercise right? It felt good. We only went around the neighborhood though because Jacob was dragging his feet which was driving me crazy and London was ready to be done. It was a good time. Actually it wasn't but whatever.. It is so nice out today! It's 75 degrees right now so it's a little hot but we got some winds coming too! Well better make sure London didn't flip off her bike or anything while I was writing! See I am improving on my family care, right? Haha

Have a great day!

Jealousy

Today I sat threw 'big church' and listen to Pastor Jerry preach about jealousy... First off, big thanks to Ali for sitting with me so I didn't have to sit alone!

Today I felt like Pastor Jerry was especially looking at me, do you ever get that?

Obviously Pastor Jerry is nicer looking and a guy but this is the best, appropriate picture google had for me.

Like every time he looked to his right, bam! His eyes just stared at me! I'm sure he looked at the family sitting beside Ali and I, or the Parker family sitting behind us but I really felt watched! You know what though? I liked it in a way! It made me feel like I really needed to pay attention so when he looked at me I didnt look completely lost!

Jealousy is a huge thing in this crazy world! He shared a story with us today about how a lady was married to this guy for many many many years!! Then she thought he only wanted her for her money so one day she got a hammer and gave him a whack..! At the bottom of the article it said she killed him out of jealousy... This world is crazy!

I think it would be SO cool to preach to the church one day!! I would put that on my Bucket List but I'm pretty sure only pastors do that... I would love to speak about the last 7 months of my life and how God has helped me numerous times but also about stuff! Physical, material, things! A while ago I started a notebook where I would rip out stuff from magazines that I want in the future. I looked threw it today and guess what I saw... STUFF! A fridge with a LCD touch screen on the left side. Thousand dollar cameras and laptops. Flat screen TV's. Video games for my kids. A microwave with a special area underneath where it is a pizza oven.

How bad is that? I had 7 pages full of cut outs but only one page said anything about love or family time.

For the next week I'm going to try really really hard not to focus on material things but more so family time. We only have so much time here on Earth with our families! Put down you IPod and go play a family game! Get off your laptop and go for a bike ride! Stop txting for one minute and go golfing with your dad. It will make a difference I can guarantee...

Wish me luck!

Close to home

I'm sure you have heard about the Minot flooding. It really has been emotional for my famil(ies). My aunt Kris lives in Minot and has to move both her kids (my age) and herself all into her fiance's house. It may not seem like a big deal but they are now having to move every bed, every picture frame, all dishes, EVERYTHING over to his house! Spencer's house is very descent in size and his garage would be considered a 6 car garage (and a non connected garage that could hold one big car) so they do have room to put stuff but his basement is not finished so none of them can sleep down there... I may be confusing you! Okay.. There is currently only two bedrooms and four people! Of course my aunt and her fiance will stay in the same room but my cousins are 12, boy and 16, girl, so it would be extremely weird sleeping together! I feel like Im rambleing... They all have to 'migrate' to Spencer's house. My uncle Skyler (his wife was Mona, my aunt who died from cancer) and Zane have to leave too! I havent talked to him sense Father's Day so I dont know where they are going or anything but it is very sad! Sorry if this post is to messed and hard to read!

I made a button for you to post on your blog. I cant make you, all I can do is ask for you to post it and pray.

Okay... Im technically challanged and cant get the HTML thing on her so you can just go to my home page and get it there. Over 11,000 people have had to leave there houses, not knowing if they will ever see them again! Just think about it...

Im sorry this post is so choppy and all over the place so if you have any questions, let me know via comment and I will let you know the answer...

30 days in pictures: day 12

Im going to finish what ive started!! Here is my days in pictures!!

A picture of something you love.

These kids! They are so much fun!! You can't take a picture of all four of them smiling and not being silly! I can't explain how much I adore these kids! My friend Kiley and I have, for years, pretended that the kids she nannies for are her kids and the kids in the picture above are mine!(: obviously I am not, and never going to be, a teen mom but it's just one of those fun things Kiley and I do.

This one way very hard because I love so much stuff! My family, babysitting, ice cream, cookies, brownies (can you tell I like my junk food?). But these guys have for some reason really been on my mind lately... Love you Ella, Britty, Chloe, and Asher! Your defiantly always going to be apart of my life!

Love,

Update

Amanda, Asher's mom wrote this on Facebook today:

I was so utterly exhausted by the time we got home last night, I didn't have the energy to go into details, but here's the story on how it went down. First things first, I will clarify that from the looks of it, this was a fever-induced seizure, which is very good news. They are very common in small children and in most cases, harmless. Asher was feeling a bit under the weather yesterday when he woke up from his nap, but not so bad that I decided to stay home from the concert. But he was definitely out of it, and wanted me to hold him the entire time. He seemed warm, but I couldn't get a good read on his body temp, and though I was concerned, I never realized his temp had gotten so high (the paramedics thought it was probably 104-105, because it was close to 103 AFTER cooling him down). Anyway, he fell asleep on my shoulder during the Go Fish set, and all of sudden woke up in a start. I thought the music scared him, but I quickly realized he was having a seizure. I was in the middle of a crowd (it was outdoors) with my girls, and I ran off screaming for help. Asher turned completely blue in my arms and by all accounts wasn't breathing and his eyes were completely vacant. A random woman ran out of the crowd, grabbed Asher and put him on the ground and started doing chest compressions on him. I was hysterical, not knowing if this was necessary, but there were several people holding me back telling me that she had to. Out of nowhere, a woman ran up (an angel from God, as far as I'm concerned), told me she was a nurse and that she had to take Asher immediately. I said ok, of course, not knowing if Asher was even alive at this point. She ran off with Asher for help (fortunately, at outdoor concerts, they always have paramedics standing by). Everyone was trying to get me me to go with her, but I had left my girls in the crowd watching the show and couldn't just leave them. I gathered my girls - God gave me peace at this point, so I could stay calm in front of them - told them Asher was sick and we had to go right away. A volunteer took us on golf cart to the ambulance where they were working on Asher. All while this was happening, Andy was still performing, but someone did inform him that one of his kids was receiving medical attention. It wasn't until he saw the chaos by the ambulance that he realized it was pretty serious. They ended their set one song early, so fortunately, this didn't totally disrupt their show. At this point, I had wonderful friends supporting me, and also the paramedics were assuring me that Asher likely had a fever-induced seizure and that he was going to be ok. He was still totally out of it, but at least I knew he was alive. They rushed us both to the hospital nearby for tests and observation, and fortunately everything came back normal. The only "weird" thing is that normally kids are visibly sick with either a virus or infection when something like this happens, and aside from seeming a bit under the weather that afternoon, Asher hadn't been sick at all. But there were no infections noted in his blood, and the doctor assumed that maybe he was just starting a virus. Asher is doing SO much better today, which we are VERY thankful for. Thank you so much for your prayers...It was a very scary hour for us, but are very thankful that it wasn't any worse than it was.

Wowzer!! Hats off to Amanda, staying calm when she didn't even know if her baby boy was dead or alive!

Please please please pray!!
