Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in GOD's sight.

Truth: The long story

I have been debating whether or not to put this on the internet for a very long time... I figured, if you want to judge me then go for it! Just a heads up, I will not allow rude comments on here so you mine as well keep it to your self!

Remember the Golden Rule!

I dont know why, and I dont know when it started but I am afraid of dogs.

The size, shape, color, and volume of bark doesnt make a difference. I am afraid of every alive dog. Yes, I agree with you. It is one of the stupidist things ever but it is very real for me. Sunday my mom was with her mom who had just gotten a dog that looks exactly like the dog pictured above. My mom txted me saying she was going to bring the dog home to our house for a week or two to try to help me get over this fear. Trust me, it is not fun being afraid of dogs! It keeps me from going to certin friends houses because they have dogs. It keeps me from taking some babysitting jobs because they will have a dog and I cant have fun with the kids because I am to worried about the dog getting out.

So when my mom txted me saying she was bringing a dog home, I figured it was a mean joke and the next day she would be like "haha! Just kidding!" but she didnt. It was for real and I got really stressed out knowing that there would be a dog at my house and not knowing anything about it. I came home yesterday and felt good about it. Many people were praying for me!(:

I walked in and London had takin Max out to go potty. Once she brought him back in, my mom held him. I pet him and got very comfortable. We then headed to the fire station for a neighborhood ice cream social type thing. I asked to bring him with so we did. At first we tried to have him walk, that failed. So my mom and London took turns carying Max as I held the leash. Above is a picture of my mom, Max, and I!

So far so good! He sleeps in a kennel in my mom and Bills room. Above is a picture of my stepbro Jacob, London, Max, and Ella (Londons bff) at the firestation with the fire dog. Max mostly sleeps, eats, drinks, sleeps, eats, sleeps, eats, drinks, goes to the bathroom, repeat! He poops ALOT! Bet you wanted to know that... Haha! If anyone comes over to my house and is uncomfortable I will have my mom put him somewhere because I will totally understand the feeling!

I am not over dogs by any means but I am working on it. Prayers would be awesome! Fear sucks but sometime your gunna have to get at least close to over it, with Max I am hoping that this dog situation will end once and for all! If you have any sugestions feel free to comment it down!!

  3. Very, very proud of you Sydney. Fears can't always be explained, or understood which makes that very unfair. When I saw the picture of you SMILING with the dog so close, I was in awe. A total miracle.
